Bubzee™ Handmade Baby Bibs

My twin boys and my mother-in law Annie, are the inspiration behind these handmade baby bibs and our other styles of bibs.

While moving across the country, our boys came down with the flu, and after changing our clothes multiple times throughout the day, we started to wear bibs that were designed for nursing home patients. Realizing, how much they protected our clothes and the boys, I asked Annie if she could make some with a smaller neck to fit the boys. Within days they were made and the boys had new bibs.

They worked great for the first few months. However, as the boys grew and the bibs were washed, the Velcro became weaker and the boys became stronger. Soon my boys were ripping off the baby bibs before they even started their meal. After much frustration, I added 3 snaps, so that the neck would be adjustable and would be strong enough not to be pulled off (if at least 2 snaps are fastened). Finally, I chose dark colors and decorative trim to hide stains better, but also make them more stylish.

These baby bibs are now the only kind of bibs we ever use. After doing some research, I realized there just might be a market for a high quality, thick, durable and practical handmade bib. Therefore, I set out to start my own business.

Bubzee Jr. ™

The Bubzee Jr. ™ was developed on a whim. The idea behind the Bubzee™ was that it should be the only bib that you ever need. However, after listening to a friend talk about the problems she was having trying to find a drool bib for a toddler and not an infant, I decided to scale down the Bubzee™ and have her son give it a test run. It was an instant success.

We try to offer two different handmade baby bib designs for boys and girls. Along with this we also try to design at least two non-gender specific bibs. If the selection is available to us, we will also offer one design for every holiday. We can also add embroidery to your baby bib for extra personalization.
